I have an EL falcon running LPG only. It lacks power and i am wondering what I can do to the power back to wfere it should be.
The car drives Okay, just a bit gutless.
I have replaced the coil, TFI module, cap, rotor, leads, plugs (gas plugs). The cat has been broken out. I would love some ideas.

See my other post in regards to tailshaft. Also my EB on gas was a tad gutless. I fitted it with one of those 2.5 inch cat back Redback exhausts & now it goes a heap better.

Gutting the cat won't make any difference. I ran a gutted cat for a while due

There is actually something amiss with the car. I am not trying to increase performance-just restore it. The car doesn't have the power that it should have from standard with a gas system fitted. I reckon that a sensor is faulty but so far have not been a

how many Km has it done? how much of that has been done on gas? & did you lose the power suddenly or gradually?

Sorry i got the impression that it lacked power due to the gas conversion which is understandable.

Since I have had the car, about two years. It is an ex cab and done 820 000.
Compresion is OK.

820,000Km I would guess that your timing chain may be stretched causing retarded valve timing (which won't effect ignition timing). My EB suffers from this & it's only done 460,000. Then again at idle especially when cold my timing chain rattles a bi

Yeah no rattle at all. I might just do a rebuild on it and start from the ground up.
