In my VH i have a 308 with TH400 trans & 10 bolt diff/mini spool 4.44 gears. Speedo has never worked properly and i'm trying to get things sorted out, so it at least works semi accurately. Have got the new speedo cable sorted, but can't work out which speedo gear i should be using- lots of confusing codes and colours. Can anyone give me some advice??

The 4.44 was never available in a 308 TH400 Holden. I think 3.36 might have been the shortest gearing, possibly 3.55. I know the C20 trucks with TH400 boxes and 4.10 or 4.56 gearing had adapter boxes for the speedo drive. I'll have a look and see what I c
