I've been reading some material about the HK 327 and the size of the gear stick. Apparently there were 2 sizes, a short one and long one. Does anyone know the size of the long gear stick, and where these used primarily for racing? The reason i ask is that my HK 327 has a long gearstick which i've never seen on any other car. It also has the bigger valve heads (part number 3917291) which is a replacement head for the originals (part number 3917290). I'm trying to work out whether or not my car was used for racing.

The long one might be for the optional 4-speed on utes/vans? These had a Saginaw as standard if you ordered a 4-speed.
