I have just put a 250 pre-xflow, XW brakes and diff into an XP. What do I need to do register it? Do I need a engineering cert? What else do I need to do in QLD???

Bossy, give Queensland Transport a call. They will tell you all the hoops you have to jump through. I don't think you'll have too many problems but best to call them as its their rules you have to follow.

Engineering certificates relate mostly to modified parts, rather than factory bolt-ons.
If the gear fitted straight up, you'll nary have a whisper of trouble.
But if things have been welded or cut down to fit, you may have a problem or two.

you wont need an engineers certificate for the mechanicals, but you may in QLD for the fitting of the engine. As you are only allowed to go a certain percentage over the original before you need this. They will then make sure brakes are adequate. Brakes n
