Hi folks. I've just picked up a new set of DBA rotors for the ZD along with some new front wheel bearings. The bearing cones are obviously machined to be a snug fit in the hub, what's the best way to install them? Tapping them in with a suitable drift or getting someone with a hydraulic press to press them in? Cheers

Usually, I use a 3 to 5 mm drift/pin punch and GENTLY tap them all round their circumference until they are properly seated in the hub. Make sure your hub is really clean first though. That works alright, but what I do is use the old cones (with new disks i spose you'll have to knock them out of the old hub) to knock them in. Line up the new cone on the hub (suggest doing the inner/larger bearing first), and sit the old cone, with the |
