It will stick to aluminium if it is freshly sanded. If the aluminium has been exposed before filling, you need to sand it and then clean with methylated spirits. Ideally if restoring there is another process that involves an etch primer and then an epoxy |

I've boged up 100 s of aluminium panels ( new Mercedes front guards , Audi , Landrover and never used etch primer first or metho . Never had a problem & have been a Panelbeater for 21 years . Sand with 36 grit first then blow off with blower till dust fr

We use metho as any moisture remaining in the scratches of an aluminium panel are able to cause problems. In saying that, there is no real reason that there should be any moisture on any panel, wax/ grease remover will clean it pretty good, it is just one |

hi adding to this would the aluminium expand and srink with heat causing bog-filler to lift as much as steal

No significant difference to steel expansion rates at the temperatures a vehicle is subjected to. |
