I need a new cab for my 1 tonner.. I want to know are all the cabs from HJ/Q X WB etc interchangeable, and same with the panels??

any help and advice would be appreciated.. I have rust in the pillars

HQ is one on its own due to the dash. The HJ - HZ's have the HJ - HZ dash but, generally, also have the HQ plenum (that doesn't line up with the HJ - HZ bonnet ridges).

WB's have the HZ dash but the HJ - WB Sedan, etc plenum.

Other problems are:
HQ cab has no provision for retractable seat belts.
HJ-WB don't have the mounts for HQ accelerator linkages.
HQ and HJ have a different clutch setup to HX-WB so the mount for the top of the rat-trap isn't there on HX-WB cabs. And co

So what ive gathered is that the HJ and HZ are basically the same shell and everything should line up??
everything else is a little tricky..??

Pretty well, yes, although you can include HX in that range too.

Anything else will work but will need more work to make it go together properly.

If you have a normal Sedan type front on your tonner, a WB cab will also be fine for you, maybe except

HX and HZ are basically the same. HJ has a few minor differences if you read my post above, as does WB. There is also a HJ, HX and HZ Ambulance pack cab that has the HJ-WB cowl but these are pretty rare.
