Greetings I've owned a HJ Sandman van since new (purchased from Wyong Motors, May 1976). I still drive the vehicle once a week. The van is a Brisbane build, XX7, trim - slate black, but with 19V in the trim field (obviously must be a mis-stamping!). The vehicles tyre placard reads 9941015. This is the original tyre placard for this vehicle. I've recently aquired an extremely rusty HJ Holden Panel Van which I believe is also an original Sandman. The vehicle is complete and original with all the correct trim and fittings. It is an Adelaide build, hence no XX7, however the tyre placard appears to be original and also matches the numbers above. What does all this mean??? Mick

The 19V was the HJ trim code for black. HX was 18V from memory. Byron will be able to tell you more or you can check www.monaroparts.comand www.sandmanowners.comShould have all the info you need. Nick
