hey all, can i run a wire from battery to coil, via switch, with fuse, and will this give me ignition?
and are there any probs doing this?

That will do it FB, although some systems run a resistor to drop coil voltage in series with the coil.

have not understood though, what is "FB",? and what is in series mean? I just wanted to go straight from battery to the coil and electronic igniton, , with a switch and fuse in the middle?
the reason is, i have lost ignition, |

What car?
You note an electronic dizzy?
If it is the blue/black motor HEI dizzy, then you can run a wire direct from the battery + post, to the fat pink wire on the + side of the coil, and it will run fine to get you there.
