Fuel injected 308 in WA Options

Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 13/06/2007(UTC) Posts: 113		I have a WB with a fuel injected 308 does anyone know if i need an engineers cirtificate to get it over the pits in WA. I called a few mechanical engineers and they said they didnt think it would be a problem. any help would be great.

Not sure if WA is nuch different. I think they do an exhaust noise test over here too. ___________________________________________

What you say is true for HT-HJ and LH/earlyLX but once you get into ADR27A and stricter you are probably better off with a complete later model engine. Otherwise you have to have to prove that the early block with late mode

Therefore you can change the fuel mapping as long as you dont exceed the emission control standards for your vehicles ADRs. James ------------------------------

It runs on LPG and that is how I get around not having to comply with VP emissions levels. Yes you can put the VN onwards heads on an early engine but without the el
