Hi i have a WB panelvan 202 column shift auto and would like to know whether i can change from column shift to t-bar auto without changing the gearbox itself just changing linkage setups. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

i am not sure pvfan,,,but why would you want too?? i am trying to get rid of the damn thing, in the middle of the floor???? cluttering up everything, and collecting dirt and dust?? i wish i could put a column shift in? cheers

You can. Copy the hole in the floor exactly off a floor shift HQ-WB and bolt in a factory RH shift T-bar. I used a UC Torana one with the integral indicator and put a vinyl boot around it so I didnt have to run a stupid console. But the UC shifter is a LH |

Just personal preferance i guess fallingbear. Thanks Byron Rich thats great info that will go to use. If anybody else has more info please dont hesitate to share, would b greatful.

You will need:
T bar with lever and rod to box. Console, I assume you willput in HJ to HZ Wiring from T-bar to harness (two green wires, two purple wires, one grey. As Byron has pointed out the T-bat shift can be left or right and may need the adjus

dont know much about shifters but instead of putting a standard t-bar shifter in, could i put a B&M or Hurst shifter in to replace the column shift.
