10 bolt is good. whack on a black efi head and the efi gear off a VK.
Shave the head etc raise compression. and advance the timing a little. that's a start.

If it doesn’t burn fossil fuels, it’s not a sport.

Hi tony.
good to see you have a great goal.
2 black lines.!

10 Bolt sailsbury's into early commodores aren't cheap to replace.
so,
before you cut up, change your oil in motor box and diff.
if auto, get a trans cooler, 2nd hand ok (clean first)

Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.

chances are , you have a single spinner.
jack one wheel up, can you turn it by hand?
yes = single spinner
No = something else, perhaps LSD or MIG.

if you cant turn
Put a torque wrench on a wheel nut, see how much pound it takes to turn.

ok,
look at the carb again, stromberg or Strasburg?
Some varijets were made in strasberg.

not sure on air filter aftermarket for varijet.
try a speed shop.
