I would like to keep every thing under the bonnet and so today I brought a air cleaner called a low slung one but it was to big in width and hit on my HEI dizzy cap My inlet manafold is what id call a semi high rise .. the bonnet closes over my carb but I cant tell how much space is left between it and the bonnet.. Any suggestions as to what air cleaner to buy. Or do I have to cut a hole in the bonnet? Cheers for any advice If its not broke it will be soon

I ended up tossing the "drop base" air filter (as it was taking about 5 hp out of the engine according to dyno). Ended up with a triangular "RamFlo" filter, which is a base plate, with a mesh covered foam element above. Worke

It hit the leads and the fuel line but after some moving things to the side and down it now fits with a 2 inch air cleaner. Phew one more thing sorted.. If it
