Hi does any one know how to get the vacum advance unit out of a Bosch electronic dizzy like the ones fitted to the early blue V8s,thanks Mike.

Take cap off, remove circlip off vac advance arm, remove screws that hold unit to the body, lift the arm of the breaker plate.

Hi Guys.

The method set out by FastEHHolden works for Grey & Red motors, but not Blue motors. The Bosch HEI dissy used on Blue motors has the vac advance arm under the reluctor ring, so there is no circlip & no arm to lift up.

Thanks Dr Terry that worked a treat,came of easy but a bit slower to refit but its all good know.What would be a good coil to run with this dizzy.Thanks.
