Guys Very cheap 3.45:1 Cross 8 diff on Ebay. Reported as only 12 months / 15000kM old. These are marked on a tag as "high performance" - I noted this last night on mine as I was adjusting the handbrake. I think this just means its a 4 pinion LSD. You'd have to do something about the front yoke, and the calipers are piped for ABS but still cheap as. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/H...DVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Just to clarify a bit of your post Byron,
They are all 4 pinion centres.
The open-centre (as used on V8s & commercial V6s) wears a high performance, use approved lubricant tag - this simply denotes that it has shot-peened internals.

Cheers Mick. I wasnt sure of the actual ins and outs of these diffs. Just thought itd make a good solid conversion diff for someone with a HQ-WB that had an overdrive box.
