i respect your opinion, but i do not agree.
If its a "MOCKER", i have no problem, just be honest when you go to sell, and dont charge GTS price.

rebirthing is somthing you do to a skyline, rebodying is what you do to a HQ J X Z, as with the skyline you don't have the option of a factory replacement body being offered as a spare part with it's own part No's, so rebirthing a skyline is illegal.

oh good i kept the body shell 2 my 4dr hq gts that means i can sell the shell and not get nicked 4 it!!!!!!anybody interested u get ID plates 4 free $2,000 melb.

im glad all this came up
im in a simular position, ive got a 2 door hq and dont know if its stolen or just stripped for parts.
its got no tags and not much else for that matter but got offered tags for it so i could do it up and get it registed. i dont

I don't mind re-shelling, just TAGs sold without matching RAIL pisses me off.

To register a car the chassis number is usually used, therefore the other tags or a lack of them is of no interest to the RTA. The VIN is for Holden internal purposes only and primarily for warranty, is the warranty still current?
