Ill buy those tags if you dont want them as I have purchased an old HQ gts 2 door that was a drag car and im putting back on the road. The guy I bought the car off lost the tags. So if you dont want them or you want to sell them call me on 0416144553

matching numbers cars can be accertained via the monaro registry, All details and all numbers are confirmed in writing on a holden letter head, so monaro202 you can check the status of your own if you like. Holden did keep microfilms of the cars built, to

Has GMH given the guys who maintain the Monaro Registry the rights to use official Holden letter heads?

I wouldn't have thought they would allow anyone except Holden itself to issue documents with official Holden letter heads.

Ok, I rang the Qld. dept. transport in regards to this and was told it is illegal to tamper with or remove a compliance plate period whether you are replacing the cowl panel or re-painting.

the Qld act make no mention of the body Id tags & in fact for registration purposes for cars built prior to 1 Jan 1989 they are only interested in the chassis & engine No's. So the ID tags are irrellivant to the transport dept. It is realy one big stuff u

if the car is legit the tags are legit remove the tags repair the rust & replace the stupid things take a 5 minute video if you must

All the old holdens I have registered in SA the only no. that has been recorded has been the engine no. chassis and vin has been put as N/A. When I put a new motor in they never looked at the car just looked on the computer to see if it came up stolen. I
