Greg,

I would say this Monaro would be very rare.
Twin headlight on a HQ and I'm presuming as with the export HQ Statesman it would have had the Export grille in it as well, with the cursive Chevrolet inscripted emblem, and centre Bowtie badge.

ozchev...yep i knew about the aprons years ago..the rarity of hq 350 coupes has really only just surfaced but if the all holden day in sydney just gone is anything to go on....750 cars entered and only one hq gts 350 coupe...mine...it would be interesting

If its a Holden Monaro (not a Chev ) wouldnt it have the normal Australian GTS Grille, not the Chev Constantia/Caprice one.

ian,my 2 bobs worth... even though it is rare in numbers produced and exported its too much money. not having its correct motor box combo in it will devalue it in the future. also needing a total resto will suck up a heap of money ...yes they are rare but

There would be no way to tell from looking at the body if it has had a manual conversion, ie clutch hole and floor shift extension piece, but if auto and never converted then ok. Easiest way though is to get the VIN and look up the car on the fische at Ho

Hi Ian, if you are after a 350 coupe how about this LS on Ebay at the moment, a day or so to go with a no reserve start price of $16000 and no bids. It's in Brisbane and currently registered so is a runner at least. Only drawback is it is now fitted with

Good on you Keithholden. The guy in NZ must be pissed about letting it go and this guy selling for more. Yeah got my eye on that one as well thanks Absinth, looks like a good solid base 350 ls. Watching both so see what happens. Only 214 odd ls 350 coupe

and just so i can right it down this time...breakdown on hq gts 350 coupe was 196 m41 cars to 206 mc7 cars byron?..i know you have told me before.

Thanks for all your input guys, the export market for holden muscle seems to be a bit of an unknown when it comes to the collectable ones. It would be good to find out how many went overseas. Good to see a few have come back home though, no offence NZ. We
