The thin strip that the HQ kingswood has, and you sometimes see on Monaro, was it STD on Monaro??
the strip i am talking about is approx 1 cm wide, runs along the sill, about 3 inches up from the bottom of the sill.
any info appreciated

These are standard on Monaro (80337/80437) and 71/72 Monaro GTS and GTS 350 (80837/81837), Monaro LS (81137/81237)has wide Premier/Statesman sill trim.

they were deleted from GTS in 73.

Hi Guys.

To add to what Warren has said, the Kingswood wagon & Kingswood ute also share their wheelbase dimension (3" longer than sedan/coupe), so they should also share the same (longer) moulding.

The sedan/monaro are the same wheelbase (Statesman/ute/van/wagon are longer, and the tonner longer again). So sill strips for the sedan should be the same as Monaro.
