Ive just trimmed about 7mm off the top point of the flex fan.
I made a template out of an icream container lid and marked them all evenly.
Im now draining my radiator into a bucket to save the antifreeze so I can remove the radiator.
Im going to slot
If its not broke it will be soon

The Commodore fan won't work with the HQ-HZ shroud. Not even with a 308. A HQ-HZ with the rounded blades might with the radiator lifted.

Using a shroud without using the appropriate viscous fan.

Problem is C10's have a huge radiator, but the HQ style one is pretty limited, even as a 5 row. The best bet in one of these is to convert to WB and run a WB 4-row with factory shroud.

I drilled some new holes in my fan shroud and moved it up.
Its not hitting , but is slightly off centre.

I have yet to close the bonnet. I just remembered :)
Hope it will do for the mean time.
I wont know till I run the car and see how hot it gets.
If its not broke it will be soon
