VM - VT 179kW plus VSIII ute and Statesman 179kW. Also VSIII ute and Statesman with HBD 195kW engine. ##
VN - VT 304 HSV 195kW
VP - VL Walkinshaw and VT 5.7L 220kW HSV (different blocks, common number)
VU - VN to VS 304 (except VSIII ute and Stat

REMEMBER THE EXHAUST on the ute and statesman, 1 cat single exhaust. that may account for mecal. and hsv mecal tune may differ. when i bought my 179 KW ute thay told me i could not get the 195 KW. they had run out of them. and they informed me about the

Good thread fellas Thinking of buying vs111 maloo and I want to make sure I get the 195 roller motor.is there an easy way to identify this?

Hi tossle.
Yes, the VN engine prefix would be the best ID. Also the build date would have to be 1999 or 2000.
