This is the case of the diff that turns less than it should?? I got under 3.35 diff, stamped]and turned shaft, to count how many turns the wheels do?? the tail shaft turns 2 turns,,and the wheel turns just under 2 turns?? this does not seem correctamundo to me!!!! I have done it 3 times!!! or has this bear finally fallen out of his tree??[probably] cheers

I have experienced the same thing, I have a 3.36 ratio diff, I spin the tailshaft once and the wheel turns just under 2 turns as well.

Turn the driveshaft more times and you may see more of a difference, put chalk marks on the yoke and the tire and get someone else to count with you. Are both wheels off the ground, is it a limited slip centre or open?

hey JBM, It is not a LS diff, and both wheels are off the ground, and the shaft has a round bump in the middle, so not hard to see a turn, and the wheels have name tags on them,, there is no mistake in the revolutions? Gee at that ratio,,i will be doing |

It sounds like only one wheel is turning, in which case it will turn twice as far. With both wheels turning, one rev of the tailshaft will give about 1/3 rev of the wheels, with only one wheel turning, one rev of the tailshaft will give 2/3 rev of the whe

when you say the diff is stamped,do you mean on the dust seal at the yoke?...or on the crown wheel itself?...if your working on the dust seal..DONT...drop the hat for the correct ration stamped on the crown wheel...i have seen literally hundreds of diffs |
