I just had a guy around here who reckoned the early GTS rims on HQ were made in Canada, and are slightly different.
this is the second time i have heard this, the other was a separate occasion when a guy pointed out that the early HQ GTS rim has different welding on the inside.

Any further info appreciated, particularly when the change was made?.

Youll also find that the Canadian rims are 6JK not 6JJ. The 6JK rims have no safety bead on the inside. Also Greg, I think the L34 rims are blank near the valve stem as they were made in house by Holden. The A9X rims were stamped near to the stem as they

The safety rim thing is an ADR. Not sure when it was introduced.
