help started the vn commie up this morning first pop drove it across the road to a mates driveway turn it off had to get another car out thats why anyway went back to start the commy it fired up first pop again then it **** it self anyi have a clue why it wont go?oh its got fuel also its on gas aswell i cant hear the fuel pump start up when i turn the key on or the cutoff valve click on fuse 4 f/pump is ok whats wrong??thanks in advace guys.

I know crap about any thing past 1980. As 2 intellegent people told me when I was young.

Its only 1 of three things Electrical Mechanical Or Fuel.
And If you can Identify the problem you can fix it.

Id check for spark. Plug an old plug into the pl
If its not broke it will be soon

Reg your commie is so smart that it tell you whats wrong with it itself
under the glovebox in the far corner you will find a plug with about
10 or 12 wires that nothings pluged into it at one end youll find
a black and a black/white wire bridge these

can almost guarentee its either the crank angle sensor ( if its just turning over and doesnt even sound like its gonna start for sure ) or the fuel pump if it sounds like it wants too go but just wont

yeah if u turn the key it firs up 4 a second and i cant hear the fuel pump kickin anymore but its on gas aswell but still wont start then again u should be able 2 hear the safty valves kickin when u turn the key but they dont anyi got a wire diagram 4 a v

gas will be powered by fuel pump power. Check fuel pump by listening in the filler while ignition gets turned on,don,t crank.pump will only operate for about 4 seconds then will automatically shut down till ignition is turned off again.Ill agree with HQ t

Hey mate had similar problem was a fuel pump relay sensor and fuel pump hope this helps might be able to get away with the sensor its cheaper

if i thought i could help someone who had a vn commy that was waiting for say, 14 months, before he fixed it or got some help, i wouldve suggested burning it, and hanging oneself from the truss in the shed that housed it since the sqft rate wouldve exceed
