Hi.

Has anyone had anything to do with/or tried fitting a rb30 with 5 speed manual into a fx/fj??

I would like to do it with my fx ute so i can start using it as a daily driver

i daresay a V6 conversion would be cheaper, easier, and more powerful from the outset. that is until you turbo the nissan....


If nissan motorsport is nismo, then doesn't that make honda motorsport Homo?

i daresay a V6 conversion would be cheaper, easier, and more powerful from the outset. that is until you turbo the nissan....


If nissan motorsport is nismo, then doesnt that make honda motorsport Homo?

If the engine bay is any thing like the EJ it will be a little tight front and rear, but once in is a good conversion, CRS do / did do a sump cross member etc for the EJ / Eh based on a HR cross member, it runs red motor engine mounts, youll also need the

i dont think it would cost $4500 w/o engine, i dont think it would cost that much including the engine. The V6 is much more economical than the RB30, not just more powerful.

$4500 is basically the price of the v6 conversions web site, Thats crossmember, fuel pump, modify sump exchange, wiring ect ect

Why dont you try a VK EFI 202? That will be heaps cheaper than both. Someone was selling a whole car for a few hunded $ on the for sale section of this site. Will bolt in mostly where any red motor will.
