hi guys, if i'm running a 3.48" crank, and 5.7" chev rods on a 350 holden stroker, how do i work out the pin/compression height? this is assuming i have a zero deck height.

Cheers
Alex

If nissan motorsport is nismo, then doesn't that make honda motorsport Homo?

piston at bdc, volume from top of piston to deck face, divide by capacity of head cavity, eg, volume = 100cc, head cavity capacity 10cc, compression = 10:1

example only dont take literally.

by the way when measuring the capacities dont use water the surface wont be dead flat. dont use petrol too dangerous and runs through too quick, use paraffin or kerosene they do not have the surface tension of kerosene. Although I have heard some detergen

i'm looking for the pin height of the piston, not the comp ratio. thanks anyway though. if anyone can tell me the EXACT deck height of a VN-VT 304 block (i think it's 8.80" not too sure though).

Need to find out which piston to choose for a 355 stroker

dont worry, got it. for those interested, a 5.7" rod with a 3.48" crank needs a 1.425" pin height in a 308/304 block. This is a 383 piston. which makes it cheaper from the US. gotta love that exchange rate!

If nissan motorsport is ni
