Heyy there.. i need sum help or advice in building up a 202 to put in a hr ute. i have no budget at this stage so any suggestions from mild to wild will be appreciated. 1st wat engine? ive herd of ppl using blue blocks with Red crank and a black head? any suggestions to do with that aswell as yella terra head. and wat carby's and cams to use will be very help full. Also it is 4 mainly high performance street with a little towing..
Any information will be great help.

ive just bought a blue 202 ive got the black 202 head at home aswell. i am going to rebuild the blue block and reconditoin the black head.wat type of rocker gear would be good for this set up my mate also has a double webber setup for his 186 that he no l

1. You can't put the twins on you black head.
2. Don't use the black head unless you are running injection.
3. Use a red head. saves a big headache, Yella Terras flow close to the black head, have a broader manifold choices, and they can be found for un

yea thats no problem as i said i have the black head a home but getting another head is no drama..ive allways wanted to build a red 202 with 186 head but evry 1 keeps sayin dont bother. ur better off going with a 12 port head. why is that? and ive got a c

whats wrong with using the black head? bigger valves and better porting. take 40thou off for around 10:1 compression and run premium at least.Although i agree with the manifold choices unless you go injection.
