Im still deciding wether to go a holden 355 or 383 compared to chev 383. Was wandering if there is anything to convert the holden block to 4 bolt mains for some added strenght?

Cheers

stud kit and a girdle should be fine for this.

$385 for the girdle. you need chevy 5/16" main studs. should cost you less than $100.

For the price that the holden 4 bolt blocks are going for, its cheaper to machine

Boom, Why do ya say the ADRs are a pain in the arse for a chev into wb, wouldnt have thought it would be much different to injected 304 into WB? and there is plenty of those and chevs gettin round?

Main reason is the complete EFI 304 complies with ADRs, as long as it has the factory memcal and carbon canister. Whereas the only small block Chevs that "automatically" comply with WB are a 350 carbied engine out of a 1979/1980 C20/K20 or a TBI engine fr

yes GEN III is definitely the cult motor of the 21st century, its a great street motor, has plenty of power, economy, manners, and it still uses the old technology in pushrods, instead of reverting to overhead cam.

If you want injection, find a WB 308

Boom, in NSW WB block with injection won't pass ADR's. It's easier to use a complete later engine. What you describe only works in ADR27 and earlier (ie HJ and mid LX backwards).
