Boom, in NSW WB block with injection won't pass ADR's. It's easier to use a complete later engine. What you describe only works in ADR27 and earlier (ie HJ and mid LX backwards).

Gen III aka LS1 yeah? Not too sure about the ali block, i was told if it overheats the motor is basically stuffed, were as cast i was told can take a lot more punishment?

yep, sorry byron, i overlooked that bit,

BADWB - the LS1 is fine with the alloy block. there is a GENTT turbo kit that puts out 400-500kW on a stock motor, so the alloy block is pretty hardy. the only time you'd start worrying is if you go 1000hp+.
