mine is going to go to 6500, that is pretty common with holden strokers. they don't need huge revs to make power. considering dropping a V8 into the ute instead of the six aye??

Holden sold 350 cubers (ie 5.7) factory with factory warranty, so just find the specs for them and they'll tell you how hard they'll go.

of course it all depends on the components you use. The holden 350 strokers used the standard A9L holden rods and the harrop crank used is different to the one harrop sells now.
What components are you using? tell us your plans!

Mid VR onwards have the block already clearanced for the 350 stroker. These blocks have blank pads on the sides instead of 5.0L. The VT and late VSIII blocks are also already roller cam blocks.

Theyll fit the COME 350 stroker kit. Not sure about the 377. Ask them. From memory the clearances for the 350/5.7 crank are the same from mid VR onwards.

it all depends on whether the torana is Pre 75' or not.
Im using an efi block, less corrosion, less chance of problems arising, and it comes with the VN heads.
the 350 stroker kit will only fit if you are using I-beam rods (in late VR onwards). The

Have been told by a couple of engine builders that the harrop crank is the best for balance and quality, the come crank is known to break the snout under big revs 6000rpm plus,im using a vn 5L with harrop crank and will be getting 300 hp at the rear wheels
