I have been researching past posts and they have been very helpful, however to clarify things a little, my hk has girling front calipers discs approx 12mm thick and I have two spare rotors and discs that are girlock and around 16mm thick, I take from previous posts that the latter are hg ht? and these would be better than the smaller brakes? Also where do i go in SA for new brake lines as the old ones are fairly rusty on outside?
Cheers

Hi jimmy64.

All HK & all HT (except GTS350) have 1/2" (12.7mm) disc rotors, while all HG (& HT GTS350) have 5/8" (15.88mm) disc rotors. The thicker rotors are slightly better , but HQ to WB are much better again, if you interested in an upgrade.

Hi, just a quick note about HQ on the front of HK HT HG. There are a few different types of calipers on HQ and some are rather large. We had the problem of the caliper hitting the upper control arms and only letting us turn slightly and made the car hard
