Hi all;

Have just purchased a HK Prem with a 350 (originally 307) and was wondering if it will need an engineers report to be reigistered in Victoria? The engine hasn't been registered with the car before, and I am unable to source the original 307 (DAMN IT!) Maybe down the track if I can find one I will change it back. However, now it has a rebuilt 350 it would be nice to use. I know the ht/hg came out with the 350, so is this considered an ok swap into a hk given they are effectively the same car?

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Regards;

Geoff

By the way, WHat engine combinations did the HK come out with? And is the original engine it cam with easily identifiable? Can the ID tags let us know?

Again, thanks

Geoff

307 and 327 in HK. If you send me the ID data I can tell you approx what 307 engine number you need. Just tell them its a 327. They use the same block as a 350. But 350 in a HK is not a problem, except to be totally correct you need to run the bigger brak

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

What some motor registries do is if the car was engineered for that size engine, then oyu do not need an engineers certificate. So as HK to HG are all engineered the same and the HT had the 350, then you do not need an engineers certificate.

However if
