Guys,
I have been looking at the TH400 supplied to me and trying to figure out why the speedo gear drive is not spinning when I have the car on jack and in gear etc. I have removed the cable housing and 43T gear and taken the picture below. Am I missing the main drive gear which I figured is supposed to go on the main shaft? If so what is required to fit one and do I have to drop the trans etc or can I just remove the rear housing section in the car.
I intend to run 15x7 cragars with 235/60/15 tyres (663 mm), 3.08 diff. As I said, the current gear is 43T. What would best suit my application.

Thanks in advance

Guys,
The new gear and clip has arived. Is there any secret to fitting these? Does the clip go in from the front or rear of the gear. Looks like the clip goes in first(due to the small locating hole in the main shaft) then the gear slides over the t

Jason,
I bought the box through Chevpower in Perth and their supplier is Eagle auto spares. The packaging for the gear/clip etc had eagle auto spares stickers on it.
Hope this helps.

Im probably a bit late now but you will most likely find the gear somewhere up the shaft and the clip in the bottom of the extension housing when you remove it.
