anyone see any problems putting a vk commodore 304/308 into a ht

Only that youll need to comply with emmissions regs for the VK motor - like the charcoal canister, PCV system, vac-spark-advance restrictions etc.

Mechanically the bolt up is no probs with the right HT 253/308 sump, oil pickup, dipstick and engine moun

Nothing wrong with it but has emissions pitfalls in some states. Best bet is if it's cheap buy it and rebuild it using an earlier block. You'll find someone who'll do a deal on the VK block for a red block. The black motor will still have some usefull stu
