Only the last 3 digits in black marker on the back of Brisbane ADR tag. I've got probably 30 or so here and they are all the same. Have about 15 or so Adelaide tags and none of them have anything on the back of the ADR tag. Sydney and Melbourne blank also |

I have about 30 x Brisbane sets of plates (not GTR or XU-1), mainly HQ-HZ Sandmans. These all have the last 3 digits of the PSN in texta. Had a really close look at the Adelaide plates again, and Jeez you have to have good eyes but you are right - the las |

All, The number of characters, the colour of the marker pen, and the size of the scribed text will vary due to normal life happenings in the assembly plants. The ADR tags were marked so that the correct tag was affixed to the correct car.
Hope this hel

the main point here for the original post is if the ADR tag is removed on a Torana and it has numbers there,3, 4, what ever then the PSN can be looked up and model/options discovered would need ADR date and manufacturing plant as well

This thread has got me wondering about commodore tags too, so I had a look at my collection.
I don't have many compliance plates, as I tend to only collect body plates, but I do keep the compliance plates of everything I wreck.
Anyway, this is a sum |

None of my Pagewood or Dandenong ADR plates that I have (probably 100) from LC/HQ through to HZ would appear to have any PSN data on the back.

Byron, Only the Adelaide and Brisbane plants were being discussed here, but in my haste I used the wrong language in referring to "assembly plants". Oops! You are correct in revealing that Melbourne and Sydney did not mark the Compliance plates in the man

I realise what was being discussed. I was pointing out that unlike the Dandenong Commodore plate Mick posted up, earlier Dandenong ADR plates dont have texta on the back. Agree that only Elizabeth and Acacia display the phenomena.
