Hi guys...

I have just thrown a 3.08 LSD into my ute and the speedo is up the creek.
So I need a Green speedo gear for a trimatic. It has 21 teeth on it.

If you got one you want to part with let me know.
Cheers

Hi Ayios, I don't have a workshop manual with me at the moment but from memory, a Trimatic with a 3.08 diff should have a blue speedo driven gear. Could be wrong though!

Hi Ayios,
It really depends on what tyres you have fitted. If you had stock profile tyres then the 22 tooth blue would definitely be the one. Maybe just fit the green one and see how you go. If it reads 5km/h too fast then you can fit the dark blue one.

Not exactly. HQ V8 trimatic with 3.08 diff and "stock" tyres could have 21, 22 or 23 teeth gear ie green, dk blue or red dependant upon which tyre option was chosen for the car. Ayois has worked out from the factory tyre sizes and his tyres which is the c
