Could this be a sandman panelvan
HZ 9 month 1978
Eng L 32
Tans M20
GVW 2000kg
paint code 30517 Flamenco red
trim possibly 63v
has gts dash steering wheel etc
Missing original engine and box if a sandman ball park figure of what it would be worth needs a great deal of work.

Is it the fact that the GVW is 2000kg that makes you definetly sure it is or the colour? Thanks for the reply

bryon, would i be correect in saying that if the GVW was 2200 and Flamenco, it would be an XU-3 sandman? (i.e. Flamenco and 2000 GVM = XX7) WANTED: QR 662xxx Edited by user Wednesday, 20 August 2008 4:22:00 AM(UTC)

correct adam. aslong as it had all the other sandman features. a brissy one with a gvw will have XU3 stamped on the plates. this is for all hx and hz sandmans and also the 76 year hj sandman. =) |

2200kg is the GVW for a V8 HJ-HZ van or ute, which includes XU3. Could also be a normal van.
