This needs a new topic now that the latest Wheels magazine has come out. Hey we wreck 81837s only, I'll get my 66 L72 out of the garage and give you a run. What model/engine have you got? I'll bet I whip you sonny.

I think you fellas have missed the point, using the American term "muscle car", their definition is to stuff the largest available motor (not exclusive) into whatever car. Usually something smaller. By that definition the 327 HK has to be in it because th |

Hi 74HJLS, The terms "muscle car" and "Australian muscle car" are quite different as you suggest. There is no question that the HK GTS 327 isn't the first muscle car built here. The first Australian muscle car was the Ford XR GT as is documented in may pl

Interesting debate. However where does it say that to be a muscle car it has to be a two door? The term "Muscle car" wasn't even used until the late 1970s, prior to that they were known as "Super cars" It was the supercar scare of 1974 that stifled Aussie

Yes indeed! Dr terry i do agree with you. i was just, trying out some type of formula to start with. and then maybe others, can come to some type of mutual agreement. i love the monaro's, but it was just in the light of, i think, the massive big cams the
