anyone know where the small brass pipe goes
car runs well just wondered what it is for
can post photos if wanted

It may be for the pre-start priming if required. My converter has a solenoid in line to the carby with a brass fitting at the converter. May be the same? Not needed most of the time, probably why its not connected. If you post a picture that would help.

been a long long time since I playied with gas (sad considerign my back ground) but form memory it goes to manifold vacume to hold the diaphram off at idle
