Hi, Just wondering if I can still use my stock 14" HG rims if I do the front HQ brake conversion? Also is it correct that the best caliper to use is the PBR Cast ones? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Cheers.

Youll have to use HQ-WB rims. Different stud pattern.

Best let Dr Terry answer that one. I think they are still OK though. I know he reckons the HQ PBR caliper is the most trouble free of the 4 or so different types in HQ-WB.

It was a damn nightmare for me. I needed to use HK rims with the slots. Did the conversion with the blank disks but the wheels snagged on the caliper. I am using the alloy calipers, so I am not sure if that made a difference. Anyways in the end I had
