Hi, Just wondering if I can still use my stock 14" HG rims if I do the front HQ brake conversion? Also is it correct that the best caliper to use is the PBR Cast ones? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Cheers.

Youll have to use HQ-WB rims. Different stud pattern.

Best let Dr Terry answer that one. I think they are still OK though. I know he reckons the HQ PBR caliper is the most trouble free of the 4 or so different types in HQ-WB.

Firstly the casting of the PBR calipers is a bit rough, they often need a touch-up with an angle grinder to clear some wheels. The stan Edited by user Friday, 3 October 2008 6:20:29 PM(UTC)
