Hi again,

Does anyone have experience with fitting a Turbo 350 auto into a HT.
If so does the housing clear the transmisson tunnel ok and can you still use the original rear mounting crossmember.
The car was a six cyl so it hasn't got and larger tunnel like the v8 option.

Thanx guys

Thanks heaps mate,
I was not sure if the tunnels were all the same as there is a lot of heresay on the matter.
What is the deal with the step down crossmember, is it an original fitment and as you have one whats the price.

Cheers

Hi, I have one from a HT 307 powerglide Brougham. They have the plate where the mount bolts to lower than the 6cyl and the V8 tri-matic cars. I can send you a pic if you send me your email address. My email is [email protected]. Cheers.

The T350 will go straight in with crossmember mods (Z plate) as said above. The rear mount is forward and stepped down with the T350.

Hi, the HK is the only one that uses a Z plate as it has the gearbox cross member bolted to the floor not on a set of rails. Ht HG have a series of holes on there gearbox rails to fit lots of different gearboxes in. There where 3 speed 6&8, powerglide 6&8
