I have a Kingswood someone put a set of guages in but didnt connect up the Tacho, it has 2 connectors, brown and black marked,
do these go either side of the coil or how?

Hi mate, i am not too sure if I can help you and I do not want to give you the wrong info.
But I just did the same to mine and I am certain tha the black is your earth and your brown went back to my distributor... but you might have old school set up. bu

thanks for help but I tried that as that is similar to XU1 setup (black-earth and brown on points side of coil) but the tacho reads all over the place when I run motor so the Tacho must dodgey,
I have another guage set so I might take the tacho out and t
