I have just fitted a ProComp Motorsport- Gilmer Drive to the 308 in my VH SL/E with power steering. Due to the fact that my water pump has a long nose on it the water pump pulley is sitting too far out and now the belt isnt lining up as it should be. Can anyone recommend a decent water pump with a short nose? According to Pro comp the kit suits long and short nose water pumps but there is no further adjustment possible and it's not lining up.

Cheers, Brett

If the say, Black motors (VL) not listed for that pump. Pull one out, pull one of the other pumps out of there boxes and eye

Yes. The main advantage is that the belts do not suffer from slippage, and are less likely to suffer from "whip" and throwing themselves off.

If your "v" belts are not properly adjusted (or are behaving badly) then at high revs or sudden rev changes
