Does any one know if the crank off a 350 chev SB will fit to a LT1 or will i need an actual lt1 crank?

depends what LT1 you are using, late model with alloy water pump and 1 piece rear main or early type LT1 with steel heads??? early have different PCD on flexplate, and a host of different stuff.

yeah, yours will have the waterpump driven by the cam gear. they were prone to running bearings and trashing cranks and hurting themselves. you have to get crank from LT1 or similar era engine

Was the bearing and Crank problems only with the 2 bolt blocks or was it a common problem with all blocks. Also after a rebuild this should sort out any issues with bearing and cranks Yeah???

These LT1 engines powered Corvettes from 92-97 and where also an option for that generation of Camaro from 92-97. These engines suffered from many niggling issues such as over heating due to the water pump set up, knocking from big ends, low or no oil pre
