hello i have a qestion about mixing paint for my hj pano i am trying to make metalic but it is coming out lumpy not little shiney bits. i am using ceiling white with glitter mixed in. how do i get it to look shiney do i need to sand it back after it drys? it is good qality paint berger and i have mixed in some blue i wanted it darker but it is more a pail blue. anyone can help just let me no thanks.

hi david yes it is berger premium only better paint would proberly be dulux i think is that a lot better?

No, Dulux is no good. It usually has lots of Dog hair in it and every now and again they mix jellybeans through it which gives a real lumpy look to your paint job. To make it shiny you need to put a couple of coats of Mr Sheen over it. Bettr buy a whole b

Also make sure you dont apply the paint upside down, because it will just come out very dull.

Make sure you use a wire brush for that metallic look that you are after.

try rectum rosebudd. its good for that stuff, get it from auto-shops

If you cant get hold of a spraygun, do not, and I stress, do not under any circumstances try to use a brush.

Go to bunnings & buy a roller.

You can even get these fancy little narrow ones now for doing the A-pillars.
