This is with engine blocks at least,

On HQ would that be the same as HK in relation to the coding. So from what you have posted, I have wrongly assumed that all parts had a early and a late system. I thought because I have Engine blocks, valley's, exhaust manifolds, heads, gearbox'

But it doesnt appear to work that way with everything. HK-HG certainly have some parts with Aussie style date codes like steering boxes, crossmember, steering column etc. I always assumed it was only the North A
