Brakes are the same. 1-2 inch lowered V8 front springs will be all you need. Also forgot, youll need a V8 WB 3 row radiator and shroud. If the blue 308 doesnt have the square blade original fan on it you can get one of those off any 5 litre from 1980 WB |

iv already got the 3core radiator so thats set and its a m20 cable set up in the ute atm for the box. so springs diff and tailshaft. since i do a fair bit of highway driving and the final ratio of the m21 and m20 is 1:1 3.08 is the ratio im looking at.

WB 6cyl 3 row is no good to you. Youll need a V8 one. Hopefully the box you are looking at is an M20, as an M21 with a 3.08 with tall tyres in a heavy ute isnt much fun in 1st. If you already have an M20, Id just buy a new V8 input shaft and shaft cover |

Yup, If you go down the path of rebuilding a blue 308 then throw in a SCAT stroker crank and rods while its apart. Then you have 350 cubes just like a Chev without the rego hassle.
Very Simple Job. Not much of a difference in cost.
