Hey guys what needs to be done to put an aussie 4speed to a ecotec v6 or do they bolt straight up.

Are you sure you want to do this, the V6 is pretty powerful and is likely to destroy the M20. If you are then they are a turbo pattern block, so you will need the chevrolet pattern to Aussie 4 speed delow belhousing. Not sure about clutch and pressure pla

The V6 bolt pattern is actually quite different to SBC or Holden 6 or V8. It uses the old Buick V6 pattern.

As Warren said, are you sure you want to do this.

Its for a speedway car only uses 1st and 2nd. Most racers use three speeds or even single rail boxes , i have many holden 4 speeds in my collection (or Junk) just wanted to use some of these without having to buy a 5speed.

Ill ask a workmate tomorrow what he uses - he has 2 cars running 3800 V6s.

Then I would get a stuffed Turbo 700 and cut the bellhousing off, mate that to the flange off an aussie 4 bellhousing...but there will be a fair bit of measuring....Im pretty sure a T5 pressure plate with work with the aussie 4 disc...they are close for s

the spigot end of the input shaft is smaller on a aussie 4speed than a t5
