Hello Folks, A week ago while in Brisbane I bought a 1973 HQ Holden premier sedan 8/10 condition for a daily driver but it has one slight annoying problem. When reversing or travelling at low speed around car parks it has a terrible squeek in the steering, now that Im home and still have several weeks off I want to solve this problem. Has anyone encounted this noise before and I can't work out whether its on the left or right side. Thanks Mary

Hi Guys, Yep the bushes are currently the rubber ones, Ive dismantled both sides of the suspension and steering and greased everything. The good news is its fixed one of the ball joints was a non grease able one and it was really stuck fast, I went to Edited by user Sunday, 11 January 2009 5:39:46 AM(UTC)
